Goodmorning people, It's a beautiful cloudy cool day..finally..
Nearly got run over by several SUV's..what is it about some guys that they have to try to run you over when they can see that there is no way to switch lanes because of the cars on the right? And why do those guys always have to be in their 40's...It's pretty sad that you still need to speed to prove you're a man at 40..you would think by that age they would realise that it's a stupid thing to do..

While I was dodging sad older men on the road, I heard on Radio Monte Carlo (FM107.3) that a Brazillian woman, paralysed on one half of her body, was able to walk and talk again after doctors injected stem cells into her brain..That's good news right Q? At least for the woman..The controversy over stem cell research is still going on..

I also heard that "Pupils were left in tears after a teacher told them that an asteroid was about to hit Earth and kill them all"..apparently the creepy news was the teachers idea of making the students understand the value of everyday..of seizing the moment...the teacher realised it might have been a little over the top when the students became traumatised..reminds you of the time radio listeners went into a panic frenzy when they thought the Orson Welles radio version of "War of the Worlds' was real news and they started heading for the hills to escape an invasion from Mars...You can hear the original broadcast here...

They call it mid-age crises, I'm hitting it in 10 years.. :(

But I’ll probably get a mistress or something.. More fun than speeding in 4X4s

Stem cell research, good news :) Thank you kwtia! Thanks for the good news, and its good to know stem cell research is in action and we're getting positive results to show the world! Im very pro stem cell research!

Good to know I won't have to worry about another guy on the streets...Stay safe...
But really, though it is curious the whole speed thing...What makes putting other people's lives in danger a cool thing..I have known too many people killed by speeding here..It's just insane. There is nothing cool about it, anyone can press on a gas pedal and look idiotic going down the highway..the only people impressed by that are people you wouldn't want to impress anyway..cars kill two people every minute worldwide..they are weapons and they shouldn't be in the hands of someone that needs to fluff his pathetic feathers on the streets..

My understanding of stem cells are that they work great with anything to do with brain stuff. Yet stem cells can not regenerate nerve cells or back injuries. Well yet that is.

I dont know about kids today, if I was 14 and someone told me the world was going to end, man Id be doing it in the streets. Kids these days, too soft for their own good need to stop listening to Briteny Spears and that poppy stuff and get some Sabbath in em.

My belief on road rage in Kuwait is that people are listening to 99.7 and it causes them to be angry and full of hate. I dont have it on my stations (89.5, 95.7, 96.9, 100.5, 103.7 107.3 and 107.9) I drive with calm and bliss.

I had same experience back in elementary and middle school where teachers used to terrorize us with Judgment day that’s going to happen soon and we must wear hejab. Eh, I hate those teachers ….

Wow yes I remember those teachers, they came a little later on in our school experience, when it got more popular to be hell preaching and talking about 3athab il gabr and hejab..neither of which is in the Quran, and yet tasamu7, ra7ma, brotherhood/sisterhood, good deeds, humility, justice, thankfullness etc..mentioned over and over..I wish they would focus on those things so that kids would turn out polite and responsible and compassionate..instead of mu7ajabat with the rudest attitudes and milti7een who are always angry and have 3uqad about women and clothing. Religion is far greater than these petty things they focus on. (not all mu7ajabat are like that, nor all bearded men, generalization noted and apologised for)

Shady, you know how many times there is suddenly a huge GMC practically on top of my car and then i go through the "where the hell did he come from??" "Oh no I cant switch lanes!" "oh lord he is going to kill me!" "why is he going twice as fast as me and I am at the speed limit?" "wait I'm not ready to die!" and the guy looks like he doesnt even register that I am there, he has a completely blank look on his face...like the lives on the street are really not that important..And it's hard to miss a terrified freakshow like me right in front of you.
Yeah PSS 107.3, good station..and there's also that beauty that always plays really old kuwaiti/gulf music, with just croaky voiced wailers..love it, what station is that?

Imagine the scene if a teacher here told her students that an asteroid was about to hit Earth soon. Here's the sort of advice the kids can expect:

REPENT YOUR SINS! TA7AJJABOW! OR ELSE YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!!
